webtrees 2.1.16 is now available. This release includes minor changes and bug fixes.
webtrees 2.1.16 is the web’s leading on-line collaborative genealogy application. It is open source software, and costs $ zero – yes, that means totally FREE!
All you need to use it is a website with PHP and MySQL installed.
It works from standard GEDCOM files, and is therefore compatible with every major desktop application; and it aims to be efficient and effective by using the right combination of third-party tools, design techniques and open standards.
webtrees 2.1.16 Changelog
A number of security related issues were resolved. Details of these issues will be released after a period of approximately one week to allow system administrators to safely update to the latest version.

- Add MegaIndex and Seekport to the bad-bot list
- Compatibility issue with SQL-Server
- Compatibility issue with PostgreSQL
- Missing HUSB:AGE on divorce events
- Family residence lable not translated
- Numeric surnames break individual list
- Wrong order for ADDR subtags
- Place names not sorted correctly for some languages
